Great, we’d like you to join us. How you do so depends on your current situation:

1) If you’re not yet a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and want us to help you prepare for your Advanced Driving Test you can join online or by phone. You need to buy the “Skill for Life” from IAM Headquarters which includes everything you need including membership of a local group such as ours so that you can get free coaching.

This all inclusive package costs £139.  Gift packs/tokens are also available. When you receive the paperwork forward it to the address on our contacts page and we’ll enrol you in the Group.

2) If you’ve passed your test and are already a member of the IAM then contact us and we’ll send you an enrolment form. A years membership costs just £10.

3) NEW ASSOCIATES:  Have you recently received your welcome pack and letter from IAM Head Office?      Yes, …then this is what you must do next in order to enrol for your observed drives:

1. Complete and sign the IAM “Skill for Life ” Enrolment Form that was enclosed with your letter. You must remember to enter your six digit Associate Number which you will find printed at the top of the welcome letter.

2. You must then post the white and green copies of the completed Enrolment Form to the address shown below. The pink copy of the Enrolment Form is for your retention.

3. Gather together your driving licence, insurance certificate and, if applicable an MOT certificate as you will have to present these when you go for your first observed drive.

NB: It is important that you complete the above procedure; you will not be automatically enrolled with your local IAM group by IAM Head Office – the only way that you can enrol with your local group for your observed drives is by following the above procedure.
